London themed notice board

I finally got round to making this London themed notice board. Having drilled some holes in a square of chipboard ages ago, I had been looking for the perfect fabric to cover this board with and I found it in Millie Moon Haberdashery Boutique in Frome. The lovely London themed fabric features a Routemaster bus, london taxi, queen's guard and lots of other landmarks. I finished off the notice board using dark blue ribbon and some blue and purple split pins. If you're interested in purchasing my creation please get in touch, it's £20 + p&p.

Owl screen print - Pink and blue

Following my post on my green and blue Caslon Owl, here is the same owl in a Pink and blue colourway.

This little chap has a body made from characters from the Caslon font, a serif font originally designed by William Caslon in the 1700s, and printed in black.  The rest of him is printed using bright pink and pale blue acrylic inks overprinted to create more colours.

This is a limited edition of 8 prints, some have got leaves around and some havn't.
You can buy now it in my folksy shop; welaughindoors now! Also if you like what you see and would like to be kept up to date with my latest screen printing activities why not become a fan of mine on facebook :) or follow me on Pinterest.

Art that's on my wall

I thought I would share my collection of screen prints and art with you, I intend to add more, up the the ceiling!

This is a greeting card by Freya art, she also does lovely screen prints and other products.

I bought this original print by Alice Hoult when I visited Pick me up Exhibition back in march, she has a whole circus series all of which are rather lovely.

This is my own creation, Mr Caslon owl, made from V&A museum papers and then screen printed. Similar ones are available in my Folksy shop now!

These lovely foiled postcards and the one on my wall is by Sanna Annukka, a Finnish illustrator and printmaker whose work I admire, I think I bought it from Paperchase.

The owl and tea cup stack original screen prints are by the lovely Peskimo, whom I met at Pick me up.

Finally is a greeting card by Darling Clementine, a Norwegian Duo who always come up with simple but brilliant characters, these ones are from "The Claudettes" range of cards and stationery.
